Ministry of Helps Department Profiles 


Audio/Media Department 

The goal of the Audio/Media department is to ensure quality sound, visual media, and duplication during Sunday Morning Worship Service, Wednesday Evening Prayer & Praise, and all mid-week Bible studies. Training is available and easy for all those interested in becoming a part of this exciting field. 



The Benevolence/Hospital department visits persons in hospitals and home shut-ins that are unable, for some reason, to come to church for prayer or other spiritual food.  The Benevolence department also helps families in time of bereavement, assisting the families by providing food, servers, clean up, etc.


Community Keepers’ Festival Committee

The CKF Committee is the core in producing its Community Keepers’ Festival. They plan and organize this community-wide event.


Counselors’/Telephone Ministry 

The Counselors’/Telephone Ministry is designed to minister directly to altar candidates when they leave the altar. 


Couples’ Fellowship

The goal of the Couples’ fellowship ministry is to promote strong, happy, and healthy marriage relationships through the teaching and application of the Word of God; and to reach out to the couples in our respective communities by hosting events and/or meetings where topics that would be of interest to them are shared.


Dance Ministry 

The Dance Ministry is divided into the following 3 groups: children, youth, and adult. These groups minister unto the Lord in dance.


Drama Department 

The Drama Department is a combination of people of all ages, who exhort the Lord in comedic, musical, inspirational, and encouraging dramatizations. They present a positive message to all audiences and stress the impact of the vision of the ministry



The Hospitality Committee assists with special events as hostesses, greeters, servers, or wherever needed.


Mature ‘N’ Christ

The Mature ’N’ Christ Fellowship is a fellowship designed for mature Christian men and women, ages 52 and up, to come together to praise the Lord and share ideas from the mature point of view.  


Men's Fellowship

The Men’s fellowship is established for men, young and old, to fellowship one with another, while being ministered to in the areas of responsibility and commitment to the church and to their families.


Ministry of Compassion

The Ministry of Compassion helps organize our annual Community Keepers Festival in the park, which involves evangelizing the community for God by bringing in various talents, vendors, speakers, a health fair, a job fair, youth activities, etc. They also sponsor our Thanksgiving and Christmas basket giveaways.


Music Ministry 

This is a ministry of vocal and instrumental music. The NCCFC Band is as eclectic as any with the various instruments and musical rhythms. The Sanctuary Choir is anointed and continuously uplifting the body of Christ in song. They are a dedicated group who welcome all that are willing to be a vessel for God. 


Nursery Department 

Our Nursery workers are loving and caring individuals who have a heart for children 5 yrs. old and under. This delicate ministry is one of great importance. They encourage all those who are willing to come out and help minister to the needs of our baby saints.


Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry consists of committed prayer warriors who volunteer to pray at a designated time. They are also united in prayer for the ministry, as well as direction in the ministry purpose.


Search & Rescue

Members of Search & Rescue go out into the community to witness to the lost and win souls. They hold Bible studies in nursing homes and sponsor in-home Bible studies. They go out witnessing every 2nd & 4th Saturday to all those who will listen to the Word of God.



The goal of the Singles fellowship is to educate the single persons in NCCFC and the community surrounding regarding what singleness means, the value of being single and the benefits of freedom to serve the ministry while single.  This includes education in the areas of dating, courtship, morality, God's plan for men and women, and other topics pertinent to singles, through the teaching and application of the Word of God.


Social Services

The Social Services department ministers to the seniors of our community through the giving of Thanksgiving and Christmas gift baskets in the South Central area. They also assist the Ministry of Compassion if needed.


Transportation Ministry 

The Transportation Ministry assists those members who do not have vehicles or cannot use the public transportation system. We have a 15-seat passenger van as well as a 43-passenger bus. No special license is needed to drive the van, but there are specific requirements to drive the bus.


Wedding Department

The Wedding Department is specifically designed to cater to the needs of the bride and groom-to-be from counseling and bridal showers, to officiating the ceremony and serving the reception. Any assistance needed from ushering, hosting, serving, etc. is provided. This auxiliary is dedicated to making any wedding a joyous and momentous occasion.


Women's Fellowship

The goal of the Women's Fellowship is to minister to the "total woman" spirit, soul and body by reaching out to women of every race, color and religion sharing the good news of Jesus Christ around the world. The Women's Fellowship desires to help the women develop character, strength and wisdom through the ministry of the Word of God.  


Young Adult Ministry

Ages 18 to 29 - The goal of the Young Adult Ministry is to teach and develop young adults to be leaders and role models, knowing and living the Word of God.  The objective is to educate them by helping them to recognize the enemy as it comes against them in today's society and to help them to understand that they are suited with the armor necessary for victory.  This is accomplished through involvement in workshops, meetings, and other social events, at NCCFC and other ministries in our surrounding area.



Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is a powerful and dynamic ministry where youth are being ministered to on their level. They learn how to overcome situations at school, home, etc. They are able to ask questions and receive answers and solutions that they can use in their everyday life. They also sponsor ‘Friday Nite Live’ on the first Friday of each month. They 

go on various outings, host seminars, talent showcases, etc. and invite their friends and family to come out and see what they are doing. The Youth Ministry teachers have easy-to-use lesson plans to help the youth understand and apply Biblical principles to their lives, maintain their Christian walk, and promote spiritual maturity.
